The brand new design from the Zoltan Tóth bowyer master.....

The Huns (374 - 454 AD)

Nomadic and pastoral people of unknown ethnological affinities who originated in N central Asia, appeared in Europe in the 4th cent. A.D. , and built up an empire there. They were organized in a predominantly military manner. Divided into hordes, they undertook extensive independent campaigns, living off the countries they ravaged. The Huns have been described as short and of somewhat Mongolian appearance. Their military superiority was due to their superior bows and their small, rapid horses, on which they practically lived, even eating and negotiating treaties on horseback.

The Hun used an asymmetric shaped recurve bow, so they dont have restriction in using from the saddle of a horse. Due to the short but very dynamic bows and they small and fast horses, the Huns was very fast and deadly force again every enemy.

The Hun C shape bows are composite bows. They consist of 3 main parts:
The 2 end-parts, which are made out of wood (normally we use ash, cherry and pear) the hilt and the reflex-curves, which are made out of fibreglass covered by cow-leather.
The string is made out of „dacron”-which is a streatchable plastic, and we use „cevlar” for the string bandage. At the hilt, they have a wooden plate, to make the bow’s surface smoother for the arrow.

The archer’s opinion:

The Toth Zoltan made bow are good sport and hunting bow. Dynamic, bow working by big initial speed .The Hun C shape reflex bow is very fast and very quiet
Suggestion for draw-weight selections:

- for target-shooting, we suggest weaker ones (up to 45 pounds / 28 inches)

- for hunting, we suggest stronger ones (from 45 pounds / 28 inches).
